Soft Banana Brownie recipe
Hello Home-bakers!
So today I'm up with another easy to make delicious recipe which is Banana-Chocolate Brownies topped with Yummy chocolate sauce and caramelized banana slices. So here goes the recipe:
So before going to jump to the recipe, let us find out the ingredients.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups whole wheat flour or all purpose flour (Maida in India)
- 1/2 cup caster sugar/you can even use brown sugar
- 1/2 cup unsweetend coco powder
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- pinch of salt
- 1 cup mashed overripe bananas (2-3, depending on size)
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/4 cup oil (canola oil)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate
RECIPE
- Preheat the oven at 350F
- Now in a big mixing bowl add Flour, coco powder, sugar, salt. Whisk the dry ingredients properly
- Now in another bowl add the mashed banana, milk,oil,vanilla extract. Make a well blended mixture
- Now add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients with constant stirring so that no lumps are made.
- Now melt some chocolate and add into the mixture. You can even use chocolate chips.
- Now before putting the mixture in baking pan grease the pan nicely with butter or with butter paper. Add the mixture to the pan
- Bake for 20-25 mins or untill the toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Do not over bake since this may make the texture of brownies hard and not fudgy.
Decoration
- For decoration cut the brownie into pieces and sprinkle some icing sugarP
- Place slices of banana on top of each piece
- now add hot chocolate sauce over the banana
- Optional step: You can even caramelize the banana slices
