Chocolate Muffins in easy method

     So today I'm up again with another interesting recipe. Cupcakes are very tempting and quick to have deserts. They are very simple to make and can be made of different flavors, today i will be telling you how to make chocolate flavor cupcakes which can be ravished with different colored icings. And you will love this quick and easy recipe because it saves your time and creates a lovely desert.So lets start baking!

So before starting the recipe let's know the ingredients.

INGREDIENTS (serves 16):

  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup baking cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda and 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • whipped cream and edible colors (optional)

Now once we have known our ingredients lets learn the recipe

Recipe 

First we will be making the batter

  • So first we will beat up the soft butter and caster sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Now beat the eggs into the mixture and add vanilla essence to it.
  • Now take another bowl and add all the dry ingredients together.Combine the flour, cocoa, baking soda, baking powder and salt. (sift the ingredients through sieve)
  • Now add the dry mixture gradually with the help of sieve into the wet mixture.
  • make sure no lumps are formed and continuous mixing should be done to provide aeration.
  • Gradually add buttermilk while still beating the mixture.

Now put the batter in the paper lined muffin cups and grease the cups well with butter.Bake at 375 degrees for 15 mins or until the toothpick test comes out clean. After the muffins are baked cool for 10 mins.

Now we shall do the icing

  • take whipped cream and add the edible color of your choice
  • now put the cream in an icing bag and do the icing on the cupcake
  • you can also add sprinkles or choco chips on the top.
